    Thanks for Unleashed 98.

Did Dannii tour after Neon Nights and was it recorded in any form?
Her wikipedia page dopesn't say a word about touring.

I don't think so. It was just the singles promos on TV or Live.

No, she never toured again after Unleashed, which it must be said wasn't a great success itself. I went to the Kings Lynn date, and of a (roughly) 750-seat capacity, it appeared that only a little over half the theatre was full. Most venues seemed to be the same, it was reported at the time.

Ouch. Do you think that came from being a singles artist?
Or was she not as good live back then as Kylie? She didn't have Baker and Anderson and the PWL era fanbase to build on.

Kylie's greatest success is how she's built up her powers and reputation as a touring act. In 1998, Kylie hadn't toured for 7 years and her prospects in that area also seemed rather grim.

No, it just came from the fact nobody gave a rats arse. All I Wanna Do was a big hit, but the follow-ups didn't follow suit, the album was a HUGE flop, and she was just seen as Kylie's less talented little sister. Yes, she was having success in the clubs, but commercially she was seen as a joke.

I also think there was a bit of bitterness amongst the fans. Dannii got to number 4 with All I Wanna Do, whereas Kylie got nowhere near with Where Is The Feeling, and Some Kind Of Bliss only got to number 22. I'm a massive Dannii fan now, but at the time I hated her because I felt that she was getting the kind of success that Kylie should have been having. I went to see Boy George and Dannii was the support. I was dreading hearing her, but ended up enjoying her more than Boy George. I think it's such a shame that she's never achieved the success that Kylie has. In my opinion, Kylie was the better Minogue at the start, but Dannii's music is by far the better now. More imaginative. More creative.

Can't believe that I forgot to say thank you for this download in my previous post! Even though I never saw this tour, it brings back happy memories of her supporting Boy George at the Albert Hall. I wish a studio version of this remix of Baby Love would surface. There must be one. I expect that there's also a soundboard recording of this gig. If a fan can record it and then make it available to download, why can't a record label?
