Default Desperate Housewives Cancelled - Season 8 Will Be Last

EXCLUSIVE: It's a sad day for the smart and sassy suburban women on Wisteria Lane and the worldwide audience of approximately 120 million who watch them. We've just learned that ABC will announce on Sunday at the Television Critics Association's press tour that this 2011-2012 season will be the last for long-running Desperate Housewives.

Oh no! I'm used to it! Been watching it since 6 years ago! I guess it's time to say goodbye!

Is it being cancelled earlier than expected? I don't know if it's this show I recall or another ABC one, about being renewed for like 3 or 5 seasons (years ago).

I have to agree, it started going down when they went forward in time. Im going to need new programs on sunday.

Any word on Brothers & Sisters?
Change is hard because people overestimate the value of what they have... and underestimate the value of what they may gain by letting go. John Belaso & Ralph Stayer

Not terrible news; there really is nothing they can do with the characters anymore. Bree has had more lovers than Kimberly did in Melrose Place!
I hope they will fix the terrible mistake of separating Lynette and Tom. I hated that storyline, so unrealistic after all they've gone through.

On the bright side, they can actually wrap things up properly on DH with the end in sight.

Brothers & Sisters got the ax a few months ago.
