After that not so much
She used to be really likable in the 90's and she's had many good songs... but somewhen she became so plastic and artificial in her videos and stuff.

I'm really not that familiar with her pre-2000 stuff and I feel like I should really explore her back catalogue a bit more. People always say it's so much better than what came from Awful You onwards.
i loved janet from start till together again. i ddidn't like most of velvet rope, after that i lost interest
I actually loved the All For You album it was her first CD I got!
It had sexual parts like 'Janet' did but wasn't too much like Damita Jo onwards.
Though I did love that album! Has some great moments! Guess cos thats when I got into her and collected her albums.
The line 'Got a nice package alright, guess im gonna have to ride it tonight' from All For You is so crass in retrospect!

Rhythm Nation and Janet are the only two albums I ever play all the way through.
I like a couple of tracks on Control and about half of Velvet Rope.
I love Janet. She is from the old school of performers that really care about pleasing their fans. I appreciate that. I saw her at Radio City last year and she rocked it out. My fave albums are Rhythm Nation and Velvet Rope, but there will always be a soft spot for Control. I loved that album when it came out and still feel like a kid when I listen to it.
