Despite this she managed to continue the recording process and delivered an album.
Her home country is one of the few that has actually got its sh*t together and managed to restore a semblance of normality, while keeping on top of the COVID situation. So, when the opportunity arrived to be able to travel home to her family (who she likely hasn't seen for a long time, even before COVID hit), she jumped at that chance, all the while adhering to the strict regulations required to make the trip home.
Realistically there is little she could be doing right now. There are only so many TV shows or radio stations she can appear on without the public getting tired of hearing her. Sadly, the promo for 'Real Groove' (Jonathon Ross, interview with Dermot O'Leary) didn't really do much for the album, yet she still delivered two of the best remixes for this era. Every time she does a project that involves people gathering together, such as filming a video, she puts herself and others at risk of contracting the virus, even if every precaution is taken. And for what? Album sales are so low everywhere, so she'd be exposing herself to risk for very little return.
I think we all just need to accept that there will be little promo in the next few weeks as she enjoys a well earned holiday, and hopefully there is a lot more to come in the future!
