Katy Perry has announced her new single Daisies.

Released on May 15, the single is billed as the first from Katy's forthcoming album, set to be released this summer.

Katy announced the news on Twitter, suggesting that recent standalone singles Top 20 hit Never Really Over, Small Talk, Harleys in Hawaii and Never Worn White will not be featured on Katy's upcoming fifth studio collection.
