Agreed about Confide. Kylie needed a complete reboot. People forget her career was flagging even then after PWL. With the exception of Confide, Deconstruction never really halted the slow demise of Kylie’s success, which as you know only turned around with Parlophone.

Totally...she got a brief respite from the slump with 'Confide In Me', but the album wasn't the Number 1 they were expecting/hoping for and didn't sell that well. It doesn't make it a bad album, just, well, the whole Decon era was successful from a creative point of view, but saleswise it tanked, which ultimately lead to the deal ending.

'We Know The Meaning Of Love' is a great song...love how someone here described it as the perfect bridge from 'Enjoy Yourself' to the 'Rhythm of Love' era. Spot on!
