"Aside from any unreleased gems, could we be getting a new song with Kylie Minogue? The Australian chart legend hinted that she would get into the studio with Jessie on her Table Manners podcast, but did they manage to record anything?

“I’m working with her. It’s happening. Maybe we wouldn’t have thought to work together if we hadn’t had made similar albums? We hit it off over a halibut. Christmas cards and everything!”

Unless I’m reading too much into it, it doesn’t sound as if Kylie will be on the upcoming deluxe? The new tracks have been sent off for mastering, but the collaboration “is happening” (present tense) so sounds as though it might not be recorded yet?

Even so I’m really excited for both of these projects and hopefully we don’t have to wait too long

I noticed that too, but it's probably just unfortunate writing. Or there are two new songs, one for Jessies and one for Kylie's re-release.
