Default Did MCA cancel Rhythm of Love because they were over-hyping If Looks Could Kill?

Then how would a “US Remix” of Better The Devil You Know appear on some CDs in 1991, even if the single was stripped to a single-track cassette single and nothing else? In my opinion, MCA/Universal’s most successful attempt at a teen flick (at the time) was Back To The Future, and it appeared nothing could beat it at the box office.

OHHH! I find that topic soooo interesting!! I remember that I ordered the CD in at HMV in Canada, It did have a catalogue - number from MCA and appeared in all the inshore catalogues back then. In the end my order was canceled (obviously).
I did buy the cassette single from a bargain bin at the HMV superstore in Toronto back in 1992. If only I had picked more copies! hahaha
