She’s already doing a Disco re-release, maybe she can include a new disco version of CGYOOMH on that to pay tribute to it?

I also think making the Fever album more readily available on vinyl is a must. A bonus disc with remixes/album outtakes would be cool too but I’m sure she’ll want to focus on Disco 2 so I can’t see a Fever anniversary being too extensive.
An interesting strategy might be to tie in the re-release of Disco with the 20th anniversary of either Head or Fever in September/October time. Really emphasise the anniversary of her most popular record but whilst promoting a current album.

There’s a ready made title ‘Disco Fever’ and if they can commission a new remixed CGYOOMH or even better do a Gaga and get other artists to re-record the album tracks or feature on them it would probably be her best way to maximise the publicity and promo for Disco 2.

Failing that, surely she’s going to name the new edition ‘Infinite Disco’. She can’t hammer that all year and then leave it languishing as the name of a Spotify playlist!

It would be nice for them to wait until 2025/2026 so they could do a joint celebration for Light Years AND Fever.

Then either explore one of the following options

Option 1 - Cherry Red style deluxe reissues.

Equal amounts of both. A deluxe 2 CD and DVD for both. CD 1 would be the original album and the b-sides and bonus tracks. CD 2 would be unreleased and rare mixes alongside unreleased tracks from the recording sessions for each album.
DVD to include the videos, alternate versions of the videos, Top Of The Pops performances and select other performances from around the world.
Deluxe Boxset with a coloured vinyl for both albums.

    Option 2 - Singles Boxset

Light Years single Boxset including Spinning Around, On A Night Like This, Please Stay, Your Disco Needs You & Butterfly. 2 additional singles for Under The Influence Of Love and Disco Down including the unreleased mixes for planned/cancelled single releases of both alongside 2 unreleased tracks for both acting as b-sides. Each single would have 2 CD’s - 1 with with the released mixes and some new unreleased mixes, then 1 with the b-sides and alternate versions (like demos, instrumentals, backing tracks of the single and the b-sides). Always & Forever would be added to Butterfly and Password on Your Disco Needs You. Sunday Morning Cadillac would also be added to Please Stay in place of Santa Baby.

Fever has not had anywhere near the kind of cultural impact that Born This Way has had, despite selling more in the UK than Born This Way. Funny how sales figures (just like the number of Instagram followers) are not always the most important sign of cultural relevance. So I cannot see a similar kind of anniversary edition of Fever working at all.

If they want to release something but not Kylie, can they still release it? Can this happen?

If the rereleased Disco comes out anywhere near the anniversary time then I bet kylie won’t want to do anything.

I'm tired of continually looking backwards and celebrating/commemorating past glories and releases. In my opinion, apart from Head and IYE, Fever was for the best part a collection of B-Sides and fillers strung together to capitalise on CGYOMH's global appeal. Great tour, but not an album worth forking out ££££'s for on repackaging and nonsense. I'd rather invest in the future rather than the past!

Yeah I agree… but CGYOOMH is a ground breaking song, so a 7 inch just for the fans would be great! But I really don’t think anything will happen as she will be concentrating on the repackaged Disco
